As soon as we arrived in Singapore and found out that the F1 was around the corner, we decided to buy tickets as this was going to be a "once in a lifetime event".
The Singapore Night Race, which is held in the Marina Bay Street Circuit, is the first night-time event in Formula 1 history. This is the third year, out of a five-year contract which was originally signed by Singapore GP Pte Ltd, the Singapore Tourism Board and Bernie Ecclestone. Sponsored by SingTel, the official name of the event is - FORMULA 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix.

A few big acts flew in for the event. We got to see Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey and Adam Lambert perform, and I was fortunate enough (thanks to hubby) to watch the Chippendale's perform.
