Liebster Blog Awards

I am deeply touched to have been nominated for a Liebster Blog Award by Expat Adventures in Singapore. I had no idea what this was, but upon reading her blog post, and looking at all the other nominees, I gathered that this is a way of showing love for blogs you follow. Thank you very much!

'Liebster' means 'favourite' or 'dearest' in German (taken off her blog post). This award, which originated in Germany, recognizes up and coming bloggers with less than 200 followers.

In accepting the award, the recipient agrees to:
  1. Thank the person that gave the award and link back to their blog.
  2. Copy and paste the award to your blog
  3. Reveal the 5 blogs you have chosen to award and let them know by commenting on their blog.
  4. Hope they pay it forward by accepting and awarding it to bloggers they would like to honour.

The 5 blogs I have therefore chosen to spotlight are:

A fellow expat and friendly person, who shares her experiences since arriving in Singapore 5 months ago.  Well worth reading.

Wick Wick

Victoria has just recently arrived from New Zealand.  She shares her personal experiences both in Singapore and abroad.

My Life as a SAHM - Singapore's Everyday Expat

Another fellow expat who shares her personal experiences on life in Singapore.  She gives us an insight into life as a "Stay At Home Mum" and how she copes with daily life with her children, and the treasures that she finds when shopping.

Jeffrey and Flora: Living in Singapore

I love reading this blog, it has everything in it from the best bars around, places to visit.  They have moved back to California, but nonetheless, this blog is worth reading about her adventures in Singapore.

Our Family Adventures

Andrea takes us on a journey of her experiences in Singapore, and of her adventures abroad.

  1. Thanks for the nomination! I don't know what I'm going to call the blog now that we're not "Living in Singapore" anymore.
