I'm a little behind on our worldcolours postings as we've been on holiday.

Congratulations to Lone Star on the reopening of their Manchester Street branch!

We would like to congratulate Shane, Steve, John, Tim and James and the team on the re-opening of the Lone Star 'mothership' restaurant, located on 26 Manchester Street, Christchurch.

Hotel Carlton Mill - Christchurch

A friend of recommended this hotel to stay at while I was visiting Christchurch last month.

This hotel is located beside Hagley Park, which is only a 1 minute walk from the hotel, and only a 15 minute walk away from the City's pop-up mall.

I stayed in their one-bedroom suites, which offers open plan living, dining and lounge area, and a single and a double bed. Very comfortable accommodation and friendly staff.

The hotel also has an on-site, fully licensed bar and restaurant called Strawberry Fare. I went there and ordered the egg benedict for breakfast. Very yummy!
